Beloved British pageant winner Eleisha Skinner has died at just 21 years old, shocking her community and the pageant world more than three years after she was crowned Miss Faversham.

The tragic news was confirmed by the Faversham Carnival Club, which announced that Skinner died on Jan. 8 following what it described as a “tragic accident.” No further details about the incident have been made public.

In a heartfelt statement shared on Facebook on Jan. 22, the organization said it was announcing the loss with “deep regret and sadness,” remembering Skinner as “a fantastic Ambassador for Faversham and a truly lovely girl.”

“We all have some lovely memories of our time spent with her,” the post continued, adding that a celebration of her life will be held at Faversham Parish Church on Feb. 6 at 2:30 p.m.

Tributes quickly poured in online, with friends and community members describing Skinner as kind, caring, and endlessly warm. Many called her a “wonderful role model,” while one person wrote that she “always smiled and made time to say hello.” Another remembered her “sparkling personality and dedication,” saying she would never be forgotten.

While the Carnival Club did not release specifics about the accident, Skinner’s parents have since launched a GoFundMe fundraiser in her memory to support the Thames Valley Air Ambulance service. The page has already surpassed 80 percent of its £4,000 goal.

“With the amazing response of the emergency services, we were able to spend her last few days with her,” the fundraiser reads. “The air ambulance doctor was fantastic. We would like to raise funds in Eleisha’s name so this charity can continue the amazing work that they do.”

Skinner was crowned Miss Faversham in 2022 and was widely remembered for her grace, kindness, and dedication to her local community. Her family has not yet commented publicly beyond the fundraiser, but messages of love and remembrance continue to flood social media as many mourn the loss of a young life taken far too soon.
