A chilling hit-and-run in Brooklyn has claimed the life of a former Nickelodeon child star — and the disturbing details are sending shockwaves through New York and beyond.

Law enforcement sources have identified Kianna Underwood, 33, as the woman who was struck, dragged down a city block, and left dead in the roadway early Friday morning in Brownsville.

Investigators say Underwood was crossing at Watkins Street and Pitkin Avenue around 6:50 a.m. when she was hit by a dark SUV heading west. Instead of stopping, the driver continued driving — dragging Underwood beneath the vehicle for nearly an entire block.

Surveillance footage shows a horrifying moment when her body finally dislodges from underneath the car and tumbles onto the street. The driver never slowed down.

Underwood was discovered with catastrophic injuries at the intersection of Osborn Street and Pitkin Avenue and was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests had been made as of Friday afternoon.

The violent death has stunned fans who grew up watching Underwood on Nickelodeon. She appeared during the final season of All That in 2005, sharing the screen with future stars like Kenan ThompsonAmanda Bynes, and Nick Cannon.

Before that, she played Fuschia Glover on Little Bill, a role that made her a familiar face to young viewers in the early 2000s. Her career also included film roles in The 24 Hour Woman and Death of a Dynasty, along with a year touring the country as little Inez in the musical Hairspray.

Sources say Underwood had just left a nearby bodega and may have crossed against the light. Investigators believe the driver may not have immediately realized a person was trapped beneath the vehicle — though authorities stress the investigation remains ongoing.

Born in New York City and later based in Los Angeles, Underwood’s sudden, brutal death has reignited outrage over hit-and-run violence in the city, with many asking how a driver could continue moving after such a devastating impact — and how someone who once brought joy to millions could meet such a tragic end on a quiet Brooklyn morning.
