Looks like Melania Trump’s big return to the spotlight has her biggest fan already on board — and it’s not who you think.
President Donald Trump gave a rare (and very brief) review of his wife’s upcoming documentary Melania — and his two-word take? “It’s incredible.”
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One this past Sunday, Trump admitted he hasn’t seen the whole thing, but the “pieces of it” he caught left a major impression.
“She did a book and the book was a big number one bestseller,” Trump added. “This is a movie, and it seems to be captivating a lot of people’s attention.”
Melania hits theaters January 30, with a glitzy red carpet premiere the night before at none other than the newly renamed Kennedy Center — yes, the same Kennedy Center that Trump added his own name to last year.
The film is already making waves. Produced by Amazon MGM Studios for a reported $40 million, the documentary promises never-before-seen footage from inside the First Lady’s inner circle — including intimate prep for the 2025 inauguration, candid moments on Air Force One, and a few sweet scenes with her son Barron.
But the film isn’t just making headlines for what’s in it — it’s also making noise because of who’s behind it.
Director Brett Ratner is back in Hollywood for the first time since facing multiple sexual misconduct allegations during the height of the #MeToo movement. While no criminal charges were filed, the fallout led to his quiet exit from the industry back in 2017. Now, he’s back behind the camera with Melania as his comeback project.
To make things even more eyebrow-raising, Ratner was recently spotted in a batch of Department of Justice Epstein files — including one photo where he’s hugging late model agent (and Epstein associate) Jean-Luc Brunel.
So… yeah. Expect Melania to be one of the most talked-about — and controversial — releases of the year.
Would you watch it? Let us know in the comments. And yes, we’ll be covering that Kennedy Center premiere.
