Prince Harry is apparently spiraling after catching a glimpse of his ex Chelsy Davy’s picture-perfect life on social media.
Sources tell RadarOnline that the Duke of Sussex, 41, has been “gripped by irrational rage” after seeing Davy’s dreamy new photos from her life in Mauritius — where she lives with her husband, hotelier Sam Cutmore-Scott, and their young son.
“She’s showing off this peaceful, sun-drenched life that Harry thinks could’ve been his,” one insider spilled. “He believes she’s rubbing it in, even though she’s just posting normal photos.”
Harry and Chelsy, now 40, were on and off from 2004 to 2010, and many close to the royal have long described her as “the one who got away.” Their romance fizzled under the weight of royal expectations — but not before leaving a lasting mark.
“She understood the madness of royal life without being dazzled by it,” a friend explained. “That made her special. Harry still sees her as the path not taken.”
In Spare, Harry himself admitted she gave him a glimpse of “normal life” he couldn’t find within the palace walls.
Chelsy’s new social-media “photo dump,” which included unseen pictures from her 2022 wedding and stunning island shots, reportedly sent Harry over the edge.
“He keeps saying it feels like she’s broadcasting how perfectly her life turned out,” a source revealed. “Meanwhile, he’s in California dealing with nonstop drama, PR crises, and the pressure of keeping his family’s empire afloat.”
Insiders say the contrast between Davy’s quiet island bliss and Harry’s turbulent Montecito grind has him reflecting hard on his past.
“He’s constantly under scrutiny, constantly hustling,” said one friend. “Seeing Chelsy’s calm, private family life really stings.”
Sources stress that Harry isn’t looking to undo his marriage to Meghan Markle, 44 — but the emotions are impossible for him to ignore.
“It’s not about leaving Meghan,” one insider clarified. “It’s about the life he walked away from — the peace he thought he’d find but hasn’t.”
According to royal insiders, Harry’s been spending long stretches alone, reflecting on his identity, his choices, and the price of giving up royal life.
“When Chelsy’s name pops up, it just knocks him sideways,” said one senior figure in his circle. “He’s haunted by what-ifs — and Chelsy’s sunshine-soaked happiness only makes it worse.”
