Hollywood is shaking — and CNN’s biggest stars could soon be out of a job.
According to explosive new insider reports, President Donald Trump may finally be getting his long-awaited revenge on the network he’s blasted for years as “Fake News.” And the man helping him pull it off? None other than billionaire Oracle founder Larry Ellison, a MAGA-friendly power player said to be quietly working behind the scenes to reshape the media empire from the inside out.
RadarOnline has learned that Ellison — one of Trump’s richest and most loyal backers — has been in direct contact with the White House as Paramount Skydance, run by his son David Ellison, prepares a jaw-dropping $70 billion bid to buy Warner Bros. Discovery, CNN’s parent company.
In hush-hush conversations, Ellison is said to have floated the idea of cleaning house at CNN, booting anchors Trump “can’t stand,” including Erin Burnett and Brianna Keilar.
“They’ve discussed who goes, who stays — and who’ll be the first to pack their desk,” a well-placed insider spilled. “If Trump gets his wish, CNN will never look the same again.”
The proposed buyout could be one of the biggest media shakeups in modern history. Paramount — already Trump’s preferred suitor — has until November 20 to submit its final offer. The Ellisons are reportedly pitching an all-cash, nearly leak-proof deal that insiders say could leave rival bidders like Amazon and Netflix “scrambling.”
One source close to the talks said the White House “likes what it’s hearing” — hinting that Trump could be personally cheering on the takeover.
Trump’s affection for Paramount runs deep. After the network’s parent company reached a $16 million settlement with him over a 60 Minutes segment involving Kamala Harris during the 2024 campaign, the fallout was swift — CBS canceled The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, a host Trump mocked as “less talented than his ratings.”
“Colbert’s gone — and Kimmel’s next,” Trump bragged on Truth Social, celebrating his late-night rivals’ downfall.
Now, his fury has shifted back to CNN. Trump has long feuded with anchor Erin Burnett, blasting her as “boring,” “ratings-challenged,” and “soon-to-be-canceled.” He even claimed she once “begged” to appear on The Apprentice.
If the Paramount deal goes through, sources say Trump’s camp believes Ellison’s influence could reshape CNN into a pro-Trump powerhouse — or at least wipe away the anchors who’ve spent years attacking him.
“The message is clear,” one insider warned. “If you’ve ever trashed Trump on air, start dusting off your résumé.”
The billionaire chess game over Warner Bros. Discovery could redefine the American media landscape — and if Trump has his way, it may also mark the end of CNN as we know it.
