Prince William’s trip to Brazil for the 2025 Earthshot Prize is making headlines for something no one expected — and it’s not his environmental message.
While visiting the sunny island of Paquetá near Rio de Janeiro on November 4, the 43-year-old royal caught social media’s attention for what fans called a rather “regal” display in his fitted slacks. One photo from the event — where William was seen planting trees, greeting locals, and even jumping into a game of beach volleyball — sparked a frenzy online as viewers thought they noticed… more than just royal confidence.

“Am I the only one seeing this?” one fan posted on X, followed by another who added, “Nope, and now I can’t unsee it.” Others jumped in with jokes about Prince Harry, with one user writing, “Now we know why Harry’s jealous,” while another teased, “Guess we finally found the real crown jewels.”
Of course, the internet didn’t stop there — many fans couldn’t help but mention William’s wife, Kate Middleton. “No wonder Catherine’s always smiling,” one person quipped, while another joked, “Princess Kate won the royal lottery.”
The Princess of Wales stayed back in England with the couple’s three children, settling into their new home, Forest Lodge in Windsor Park, as William traveled solo for the green-minded award ceremony.
