Liam Gallagher’s long-awaited Oasis reunion nearly turned into a disaster Thursday night — when a rogue fan launched a flare straight into the crowd during the band’s packed Melbourne show, igniting fury from the famously hot-tempered frontman.

The 53-year-old rocker was belting out “Champagne Supernova” when the glowing red flare shot across Marvel Stadium’s mosh pit, sending thousands of fans screaming as smoke filled the air. Gallagher, visibly enraged, halted the performance mid-cheer, wagged his finger at the crowd and snapped, “That was naughty. Naughty, naughty, naughty!”

But the “Wonderwall” icon wasn’t done. By morning, his anger had erupted online. “To the massive c— who launched that flare into the crowd last night at the gig in Melbourne, you are 1 seriously f—– up individual and you will get yours trust me,” Gallagher blasted on social media — a warning that instantly went viral among stunned fans.

Witnesses say the flare appeared to land in the center of the crowd beneath the stadium’s closed roof, lighting up the sold-out arena as security scrambled to find the culprit. “It was absolute chaos — people were coughing, others were screaming, and Liam looked ready to jump off the stage,” one concertgoer told local media.

No injuries were reported, but many are now questioning how the fan smuggled pyrotechnics past tight security checks.

The show was Oasis’ second of three in Melbourne on their massive 2025 reunion tour, their first in 16 years since the Gallagher brothers’ infamous 2009 breakup that tore the band apart. The explosive incident added a fiery twist to an already emotional comeback — one that reminded fans the Gallagher temper is still as legendary as their music.
