Bridget Moynahan isn’t holding back when it comes to her memories of working with her on-screen husband, Chris Noth, on Sex and the City.
During a new episode of Kristin Davis’s Are You a Charlotte? podcast, the actress—who played Natasha, Mr. Big’s first wife—revealed that Noth repeatedly acted like he had never met her, even while filming their scenes together.
“Every time Chris Noth would be like, ‘Hi, nice to meet you,’” Moynahan said, recalling her disbelief. “I was like, ‘Dude, I’m your wife.’”
Davis, who played Charlotte York, was stunned by the revelation and burst out laughing before responding, “Oh, my God, that is classic.”
Moynahan joked that it took leaving the series before Noth finally seemed to remember who she was.
Noth’s Legacy and Scandal
Noth played Carrie Bradshaw’s on-again-off-again love interest, Mr. Big, throughout all six seasons of the HBO series and both movies. His character’s shocking death in the first episode of the revival And Just Like That… made headlines—but controversy followed soon after.
Shortly after the spin-off’s premiere, three women accused Noth of sexual assault, with alleged incidents spanning from 2004 to 2015. Actress Zoe Lister-Jones also accused him of inappropriate behavior.
Noth denied the allegations, but CBS swiftly fired him from The Equalizer, announcing, “Chris Noth will no longer film additional episodes, effective immediately.”
His Sex and the City co-stars—Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis—released a joint statement expressing support for the women who came forward:
“We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth. We support the women who have shared their painful experiences. We know it must be very difficult to do and we commend them for it.”
Carrie Bradshaw’s Story Might Not Be Over
Although And Just Like That… has been canceled after three seasons, executive producer Elisa Zuritsky hinted that fans might not have seen the last of Carrie Bradshaw.
“She’s alive,” Zuritsky said, referring to Sarah Jessica Parker’s beloved character. “I don’t like to be too final about things. Life is long, and we’ve seen a lot of things happen.”

A correction to your write up. On Sex and the City, Natasha was actually Mr. Big’s second wife, not his first. It came out that he had been married years earlier (in his words, they were quite young at the time). They had an amicable divorce and he moved on with his life.
I would have watched it, but it wasn’t on a channel that I get.
