Prince Harry might be making headlines for more than just royal ceremonies and charity events — fans and insiders alike are buzzing that his body language during a recent solo trip to the UK is giving serious “divorced man glow-up” energy.
The Duke of Sussex returned to his homeland on September 8, leaving wife Meghan Markle back in California. The reason? A short string of public appearances tied to causes he’s supported for years. But what really stole the spotlight wasn’t his schedule — it was his smile.
At Windsor Castle, Harry laid flowers at his late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II’s resting place. Later, he took the stage at the WellChild Awards in London, honoring seriously ill children and mingling with celebs.
But it was how he looked while doing it that had people talking.
“When Harry is with Meghan, he’s focused on her. You can see it in his posture, in his face — he’s tense,” said body language expert Darren Stanton. “But alone? He’s open, animated, and completely different.”
Stanton noted Harry’s relaxed gestures, open palms, and calm composure — and zero signs of the blushing or nervous fidgeting that’s often visible when he’s beside Meghan. “He’s speaking from the heart without hesitation,” Stanton added. “It’s like he doesn’t have to juggle anything — he’s just… Harry.”
A royal insider doubled down on the speculation, telling us: “There’s a noticeable difference when Meghan’s not around. Harry’s smiling more, he’s engaging more — people close to him believe he’s finally enjoying being himself again.”
And those same insiders believe this solo glow-up may not be temporary.
“Harry and Meghan are already living separate lives,” the source said. “There’s talk that a split announcement could be coming soon. His body language is just more proof.”
While Harry seemed confident on stage, observers also caught moments of raw emotion during the WellChild Awards.
He got personal while reflecting on how much has changed since he first got involved with the charity. “More than ever, WellChild’s mission must be our shared priority,” he told the crowd. “Think about how you can play your part.”
Stanton noted: “There’s a weight in his voice when he talks about family. He misses them — even if he won’t say it outright.”
Though back in the UK, Harry’s royal reunion wasn’t exactly warm. He reportedly had just a 55-minute meeting with King Charles III. And his brother Prince William? Nowhere in sight.
Despite the chilly reception, Harry still showed up with purpose — and maybe a bit of homesickness.
