Washington, D.C. — In a fiery sit-down that has sent shockwaves through Washington, FBI Director Kash Patel didn’t hold back. He’s promising a full reckoning for years of political corruption inside the Bureau—starting with how top officials allegedly protected Hillary Clinton while targeting President Trump.
Patel, flanked by Deputy Director Dan Bongino, spoke exclusively to Sunday Morning Futures, telling host Maria Bartiromo that the rot at the FBI ran deep—but it’s being ripped out by the roots.
“It was a total hijacking of justice,” Patel said bluntly. “James Comey and his allies at the top of the FBI decided who got prosecuted—and who got a pass. And guess what? Hillary Clinton got the pass.”
Patel pointed to the now-infamous Clinton email scandal, claiming top brass ignored evidence and twisted the legal process to shield her from prosecution. He called it the beginning of the weaponization of federal law enforcement—and a betrayal of the American people.
Comey, McCabe, Strzok: A Culture of Deception
Patel didn’t mince words when naming names. Former FBI Director James Comey, Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, and FBI agent Peter Strzok were at the center of what he called “the biggest deception game in D.C. history.” He accused them of turning the FBI into a political hit squad and misleading both Congress and the courts.
“They used taxpayer dollars to run a political operation. They lied to judges. They buried documents. And when they got caught, they doubled down,” said Patel.
He added that the new leadership under President Trump is digging up what they left behind—and exposing it.
“Just give us a week or two,” Patel teased. “There’s a wave of transparency coming.”
Crossfire Hurricane: The Scandal That Won’t Die
At the center of the storm is Crossfire Hurricane—the FBI’s investigation into alleged ties between the Trump campaign and Russia. Patel confirmed that his team has uncovered bombshell evidence showing the FISA court was misled and key documents were hidden in off-the-books locations, never meant to see the light of day.
“We’re talking about fabricated warrants. Evidence buried in backrooms. This wasn’t sloppy—it was malicious,” Patel said.
He made it clear: the old guard’s days are over. And this time, the truth won’t be redacted.
“We’re handing it all to Congress—unredacted,” he added. “That’s how we restore trust. That’s how we bring the FBI back.”
Bongino: “We’re Putting Americans First Again”
Deputy Director Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service agent and Trump loyalist, echoed Patel’s message.
“This is about national security. About protecting Americans. And cleaning out the corruption that nearly destroyed the agency,” said Bongino.
He said the new FBI is focused on real threats—border security, terror cells, and rising crime—not partisan games.
“Under President Trump, we answer to the Constitution—not to political operatives,” Bongino added.
The Bottom Line: Accountability Is Coming
Patel’s interview signals a new era at the FBI—one marked by transparency, accountability, and a no-nonsense attitude toward restoring law and order. With Congress now receiving unredacted documents and the American people demanding answers, the days of selective justice appear to be numbered.
“It all ends under Trump,” Patel declared. “The cover-ups. The lies. The weaponization of our justice system. It’s over.”
Stay tuned. The deep state just got its eviction notice.
