A coordinated wave of left-wing outrage swept into the nation’s capital Saturday as radical activists targeted President Trump and Elon Musk in one of the largest protest efforts since Trump reclaimed the White House. Their message? Fear and intimidation.
Chanting slogans, waving homemade signs, and openly calling the president and Musk “fascists,” thousands gathered near the Washington Monument to oppose Trump’s new “Liberation Day” tariffs and cost-cutting measures championed by Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
“They are afraid of your unity and diversity. Well, let’s keep them afraid until they change!” shouted progressive activist Rev. William Barber II, whose fiery speech sounded more like a battle cry than a policy critique.
Protests Spread Nationwide — With Help from Well-Funded Leftist Groups
The D.C. protest was part of a nationwide campaign branded “Hands Off!” and organized by deep-pocketed progressive outfits like MoveOn.org and Indivisible — both known for anti-Trump activism.
Events reportedly took place in over 1,000 cities, including at Columbia University in New York City and liberal strongholds across California. While branded as peaceful rallies, Trump supporters were quick to point out the recent rise in vandalism targeting Tesla vehicles and facilities, which the president has rightfully condemned as domestic terrorism.
“We don’t negotiate with anarchists,” a senior White House official told us. “And we don’t govern based on threats from people who can’t handle losing elections.”
Trump Unfazed, Stays Focused in Florida
While protesters screamed in DC, President Trump was working from Mar-a-Lago, where he’s finalizing the second phase of his America First Economic Restoration Plan, aimed at reshoring industry, protecting U.S. workers, and slashing federal waste.
His administration has already cut billions from bloated bureaucracies through DOGE — a move critics call “draconian,” but taxpayers are applauding.
“President Trump and Elon Musk are the only ones treating the federal budget like it’s actual money — not Monopoly cash,” said GOP strategist Carla Bennett.
Democrats Turn to Old Faces, Same Playbook
Among the speakers in DC was Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), best known for his failed impeachment crusades and constant Trump-bashing.
In one of the day’s more bizarre tirades, Raskin attacked Trump’s tariffs, blamed him for Wall Street corrections, and even ranted about Greenland and Canada — countries Trump has joked about annexing in the past.
“We say to Donald Trump and Elon Musk, hands off Greenland! Hands off Canada! Hands off Panama!” Raskin shouted.
Critics online quickly mocked the remarks as out-of-touch and delusional.
The Real Battle: America vs. The Elite Left
Conservatives say the protests reveal a deeper truth: The radical left is terrified of losing control.
After four years of Biden-era inflation, globalist pandering, and skyrocketing crime, the American people put Trump back in office to clean house, cut waste, and put America first.
“This isn’t about tariffs or spending cuts,” said political commentator Mark Wiley. “It’s about Trump disrupting their power structure — and they’re panicking.”
Bottom Line: While liberals scream “fascism,” real Americans are watching their jobs return, their taxes shrink, and their nation recover. And no amount of drum circles or protest signs will stop it.

Most of these demonstrators are paid professional mobs in the employ of George Soros and all his pals in the desperate Democrat Party. You can’t sell these demonstrations anymore as organic outrage against tariffs which would wipe out our income tax. We have seen to much orchestrated political theatre from the Left. The old tricks don’t work. These demonstrators always show up with professionally printed signs and arrive on buses. Just like the “NAZIs and KKK” at Charlottesville and the J6 agitators like Ray Epps and the “Patriot Front”. All completely and hilariously fake and ineffective like the Russia Hoax, the Quid-pro-Quo case, the Document case and all the lawfare yet look who is in the White House!

These people are NOT a “mob”, nor are they “left-wing radicals ” or “anarchists “. Many of these protesters are former Trump supporters who voted for him this past November and who now realize how incredibly foolish they were to vote for him .
