Philip Enewally, widely known as the influential YouTuber “P2istheName,” was shockingly discovered dead Friday in a mailroom in Los Angeles County, authorities confirmed.
Enewally, just 26 years old, had captivated millions through his charismatic videos featuring popular games like NBA 2K and Fortnite. Beyond gaming, his viral pranks and behind-the-scenes vlogs gave his nearly 4 million subscribers an intimate look into his life.
The cause of his sudden death remains unclear. TMZ first broke the tragic news, citing Enewally’s mother, who tearfully requested privacy for her grieving family.
Born and raised with strong Christian values, Enewally frequently spoke publicly about the role of faith in his journey. After nearly a decade of YouTube stardom, he recently expanded his success by founding the production company Iced Entertainment and launching his own clothing brand.
“God is amazing, bro. God is amazing,” Enewally emotionally stated in one of his final videos, reflecting on the challenges of building his brand. “I literally was praying in the car for a beautiful drop, thanking God for even giving me the creativity to put this together.”
Enewally had publicly announced plans to relocate from Los Angeles to Atlanta, Georgia, raising new questions about his untimely death.
Fans and fellow creators quickly reacted with shock and grief. Fellow YouTuber COLETHEMAN, deeply shaken by the news, expressed his sorrow online: “My good friend @P2istheName has passed away. I’m honestly at a loss for words. He was always so kind to me and gave me so much content creation advice. May he rest in peace.”
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has yet to release official details regarding the circumstances of his passing, promising further investigation.
