A shocking scene unfolded aboard an American Airlines flight bound for Miami. A 31‐year-old man, Delange Augustin, spiraled into a frenzy mid-flight. He claimed that a Satanic follower had snuck aboard. In a desperate bid for protection, he swallowed his rosary beads and violently lashed out at the crew.
Shortly after takeoff from Savannah, Augustin began yelling and shaking. Crew members first thought he was having a seizure. They soon realized he was battling what he described as dark, demonic forces. “I won’t let Satan claim my soul,” he allegedly roared during the chaos.
The flight was forced to turn back. When the aircraft landed back in Georgia, the disturbance escalated. Fellow passengers had to restrain him after he attacked another crew member.
Augustin’s sister, who traveled with him, told investigators, “We were fleeing relentless spiritual attacks. We had no choice but to escape this evil.” She explained that they were heading to Haiti to avoid what she described as ongoing occult assaults.
Authorities have charged Augustin with misdemeanor battery and criminal property damage. A senior FBI official commented, “This case is unlike any we’ve seen. We are examining every angle of this disturbing incident.”
American Airlines later praised its crew. “We appreciate the professionalism of our team and thank our passengers for their calm under pressure,” the airline said in an official statement.
In recent years, unsettling reports of supernatural influences have stirred debate across the nation. As faith and freedom remain cornerstones of our society, many conservative Americans are left questioning whether these dark forces are more than mere paranoia—or a sign of a deeper spiritual battle in our skies.
