The Christmas Day tragedy that claimed 38 lives aboard an Azerbaijan Airlines flight has taken a sinister turn as the airline confirmed “external physical and technical interference” caused the disaster—not an onboard fault.

The Embraer 190 jet exploded into a fireball as it crash-landed near Aktau, Kazakhstan, leaving survivors clinging to life amid the wreckage. Miraculously, part of the fuselage remained intact, saving 28 passengers.

While initial reports suggested a bird strike, mounting evidence points to a Russian connection. Multiple sources allege the plane was downed by a Pantsir-S air defense missile, reportedly installed near Grozny Airport weeks before the crash.

According to Azerbaijani and U.S. officials, the Russian missile may have detonated near the plane, showering it with deadly shrapnel. Haunting footage shows the jet nosediving in its final moments, with pilots desperately fighting for control. Black box data revealed one pilot’s chilling last words: “I can’t execute, control is lost!”

Adding fuel to the allegations, a panicked Vladimir Putin allegedly shut down Russian airspace just one minute after the crash, as Kremlin officials remain tight-lipped.

Harrowing video from inside the plane shows terrified passengers making final calls to loved ones and preparing for the worst as the aircraft plunged. Survivors describe an explosion, believed to be an oxygen tank rupture, worsening the chaos.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has declared a day of mourning, as investigators, led by Azerbaijan’s deputy prosecutor general, comb through the wreckage for answers.
