What should have been a picture-perfect Easter Sunday for the British royal family is shaping up to be anything but.

Behind the polished smiles outside St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, a deepening family feud is erupting into public view — and it’s pitting King Charles against his own heir, Prince William.

In a highly unusual move, palace insiders confirmed ahead of time that William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, will attend the Easter service alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla. But two key figures will be missing: Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

And according to insiders, that absence is no coincidence.

William has reportedly made it crystal clear — he will not attend events where members of the York family are present.

The palace insists Beatrice and Eugenie chose not to attend, in agreement with the king. But royal watchers say that carefully worded explanation sounds eerily familiar — echoing the language once used when Prince Andrew first “stepped back” from public life… before being effectively exiled.

Now, the royal family appears to be split into two competing camps.

On one side: King Charles, pushing for unity and quietly trying to bring the Yorks back into the fold.

On the other: Prince William, taking a far tougher stance — and seemingly aligning with public opinion that has little appetite for any Epstein-linked figures returning to prominence.

That tension is now spilling into public events.

Just days after the Easter snub, reports emerged that Charles plans to invite Beatrice and Eugenie to Royal Ascot — one of the monarchy’s most high-profile and symbolic appearances. The move directly contradicts earlier claims believed to be linked to William’s camp that the York sisters would be sidelined.

The mixed messaging is raising eyebrows — and questions about who is really in control behind palace walls.

At the center of it all remains the toxic shadow of Jeffrey Epstein.

Prince Andrew’s ties to the disgraced financier forced him out of royal duties years ago, but the fallout is far from over. Mentions of the York family in newly surfaced Epstein-related materials have only reignited public scrutiny — and intensified pressure on the monarchy.

William, insiders say, sees the writing on the wall.

Charles, however, appears more willing to rehabilitate the family image — a strategy critics warn could backfire badly.

And now, the stakes are about to get even higher.

King Charles’ upcoming visit to the United States is shaping up to be a potential PR disaster, with Epstein expected to dominate headlines across the Atlantic.

Democratic Congressman Ro Khanna has already urged the king to meet with Epstein survivors during the trip — a request swiftly declined by the palace, citing ongoing investigations.

Critics aren’t buying it.

Khanna has publicly argued that the king could acknowledge victims without interfering in legal matters — and warned that if Charles refuses to address the issue, it will follow him anyway.

“He’s either going to come to America and face constant questions about Epstein,” Khanna said, “or take the opportunity to show leadership.”

Either way, the monarchy is walking into a storm.

With a fractured family, conflicting strategies, and one of the biggest scandals in modern history still looming large, this Easter isn’t about unity — it’s about a royal power struggle playing out in real time.

And the world is watching.
