A supposed “2023 membership list” for the notoriously hush-hush Bohemian Club is blowing up online — and it reads like a VIP roll call straight out of a spy movie.
The newly circulated roster, published by independent journalist Daniel Boguslaw, allegedly includes around 2,200 names tied to the Bohemian Grove scene: business heavyweights, political power players, and a stack of entertainment big shots.
And yes, the celeb names are what everyone’s talking about.
Among the A-listers reportedly listed: Paul Newman, Jimmy Buffett, Conan O’Brien, James Belushi, Chris O’Donnell, Clint Black, and country star Eric Church.
But here’s where it gets messy.
Newman has been dead since 2008. Buffett died in 2023. So if this document is real, people are already asking: is this a current membership roster, a legacy list, a historical directory — or a Franken-list stitched together from old records?
Boguslaw says he got the list from a member and described an almost comical grind to land it, telling The San Francisco Standard he showed up repeatedly at someone’s office for days trying to get it.
The Standard also reported it reached an unnamed person described as a member who claimed the list was legit.
Meanwhile, the Bohemian Club isn’t exactly handing out gold stars for transparency. A spokesperson has suggested the club doesn’t keep official member lists because of its secretive nature — which only adds fuel to the internet bonfire.
For anyone new to the legend: the Bohemian Club is a private San Francisco group founded in the 1870s, best known for its annual summer encampment at Bohemian Grove, a massive, heavily restricted property in Northern California that’s been whispered about for decades as a playground for the rich, famous, and powerful.
Bottom line: the list is viral, the names are headline bait, and the questions are piling up fast — especially with deceased stars appearing on what’s being framed as a 2023 roster.
So is it real, recycled, or somewhere in between?
Either way, Hollywood’s “secret club” chatter just got loud again.
